Our Story
Meet Heath & Lilly
Northwoods Homestead Co. started with a shared dream: to build a life centered around the outdoors, animals, self-sufficiency, and working with our hands.
When we found our 35-acre property in Dalbo, Minnesota, we saw more than just a place to live. We saw an opportunity to build something of our own.
What started with growing plants, raising animals, and learning new skills has grown into something much bigger. Today, we're raising chickens, quail, and rabbits, caring for our honeybees, growing food, and improving our homestead one project at a time.
We're still learning, growing, and building our dream—and we're excited to share that journey with our community.

Built One Project at a Time
From our first animals and garden plants to expanding our beekeeping operation and preparing for future farm experiences, Northwoods is constantly evolving. Every new project brings something to learn, improve, and share.

More Than Just a Homestead
Our hope is to grow Northwoods into a place where people can connect with locally raised animals and farm products, learn about homesteading, and someday enjoy unique experiences on our property.
Whether you're looking for your first backyard chickens, locally produced honey, or simply want to follow our journey, we're glad you're here.
